Jeddah: The Council of Ministers on Tuesday made it clear that any act of politicizing Hajj won’t be acceptable. The weekly session of the Cabinet was held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah which was chaired by the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, Minister of Media Turki Al-Shabanah said that the Cabinet urged the Haj pilgrims to stay away from everything that disturbs Hajj and its tranquility such as raising any political or sectarian slogans.
As reported by the Saudi Gazette, the pilgrims were cautioned against such actions and were told that all necessary measures will be taken to prevent them. All the regulations and instructions would be applied against those who perpetrate such acts, warned the Cabinet.
