Anti-JNU Vice Chancellor slogans on stray dogs

New Delhi, April 24: Protesters in Jawaharlal Nehru University are now using stray dogs to spread their campaign to oppose a move for re-appointment of Vice Chancellor B B Bhatacharya for a second term.

Much to the surprise and dismay of onlookers, dogs with slogan ‘VC BBB GO’ written on them are moving in the campus.

The students’ organisations expressed their ignorance about the issue. However, the ABVP claimed that it could have been done by radical forces in the campus, represented by AISA and DSU.

“It might have been done by AISA and DSU. Some of their cadres offer biscuits to the dogs. They might have written such slogans while the dogs were eating the biscuits,” alleged Vineet Chaturvedi, JNU ABVP general secretary.

“We do not support such personal attacks. We are not competent enough to launch a personal attack against the VC but we do oppose his re-appointment,” he added.
