Srinagar, June 18: A gunfight erupted between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir Friday, just hours after two guerrillas were killed in Baramulla district, police said.
Rashtriya Rifles troopers and police surrounded a house in Marvel village in Sopore district, with a police officer saying four to six gunmen were holed up inside. Sopore is nearly 60 km from here.
