Andhra Univ launches MBA in hospital administration

Visakhapatnam, April 29: Andhra University (AU) Vice-Chancellor B Satayanarayana launched a new MBA course in hospital administration in Technical collaboration with Government King George Hospital(KGH), one of the premier Hospitals in Andhra Pradesh here.

Talking to reporters yesterday, he said that the new MBA Programme through Distance learning Mode with the Approved All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), The main objective of the course is to prepare quality and efficient administrators to manage hospitals and to equip the candidates with various methods of administration of hospitals.

The AU School of Distance Education(SDE) Director N L Narasimha Rao said that the new MBA course has lot of demand in the Port City corporate hospitals. The admission criteria based on the entrance examination to be Conducted SDE ,the Eligible for Admission to candidates with mathematics at Class X or Metric or Intermediate levels Only.

The duration of course three academic years and fee structure total course fee is 30,000. The Sale of Applications will begin on May 5 Onwards and closes on June 6 and on June 12 is entrance test, he added.
