Andhra Pradesh notice to Parkwood International School

Hyderabad, July 25: Andhra Pradesh government today issued a show-cause notice to Parkwood International School on why the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to it, following allegations that its director “sexually abused” one of the students, not be cancelled.

In the wake of arrest of its director Mohammed Salahuddin Ayub, the School Education Department today issued the notice to the school at Manneguda in the neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, officials said.

The government has also written to the CBSE to get into the details of the incident and initiate necessary action including de-recognition of the school for violating rules.

“The government has ordered the Commissioner (School Education Department) for issuing a show-cause notice to the school management asking it why the NOC issued to it be not cancelled after some violations are seen following registration of a criminal case against its director,” a top official said.
