Amit Shah, Kejriwal to attend DMK National Political leaders meet

New Delhi: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is going to organise a meeting of national political leaders in Chennai on August 30. The meeting has been called by DMK to commemorate its past president and deceased leader M Karunanidhi.

Bharatiya Janta Party president Amit Shah, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad will be attending this meeting of national political leaders in Chennai.

Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi passed away on August 7 after a prolonged illness. He was admitted to Chennai’s Kauvery Hospital after the complaints of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).

After his death, he was laid to rest near the iconic Anna Memorial at Marina beach here.
The doyen of Tamil politics was buried beside former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, C. N. Annadurai, in whose memory the Anna Memorial was built.
