Jalandhar, April 08: Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, who has authored four books, today said he will pen another on politics of the state to “expose” those who have been responsible for its “deterioration” since independence.
“The book will reveal how the leadership of Punjab failed to strengthen the state and allowed it to deteriorate”, he told reporters here.
His fourth book, “Last Sunset : Rise and fall of Lahore Durbar”, was released recently.
He said over 35,000 persons were killed during the period of militancy and someone must be responsible for their deaths.
“I will try that the book is released before the next assembly elections and preparatory work on it is almost done but I need to talk many persons connected with the politics of those days before start writing it”, he added.
