All-party meet on T soon, says PC

New Delhi, December 30: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday reiterated that he would convene an all-party meeting on Telangana issue soon.

“I have confidence that all stakeholders would attend the meeting and express their views fairly on creation of Telangana state, “he told reporters.

He hoped that the TDP would attend the convention and make its stand clear on statehood issue and help the Centre to resolve the contentious issue.

Meanwhile, Telangana Congress MP, T Rajaiah said that the Congress MPs are mounting pressure on the Centre by protesting inside and outside the Parliament over the statehood issue. He expressed confidence that the Centre would soon come out with a positive announcement on Telangana.

Congress MPs, K V P Rama Chandra Rao, Botcha Jhansi, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, TDP MP Mysoora Reddy have returned to Hyderabad as the extended session of the winter session of the Parliament concluded on Thursday.
