Lucknow, May 03: In a major breakthrough in AIEEE exampaper leak, the Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested the brother of the mastermind of the whole incident that affected lakhs of student.
Phool Chandra, who is posted as a clerk in the Punjab National Bank in Jaunpur, was arrested from Lucknow late last night, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) STF Vijay Prakash said today.
He said Phool Chandra is the brother of the gang leader.
The arrested accused has revealed names of some persons and efforts were being made to arrest them, sources said.
Police had yesterday said that the kingpin of gang involved in the leakage of the paper was a native of Jaunpur district and has bases in Ghaziabad and Mumbai.
