Lucknow: A man named Akbar was lynched by a mob for alleged cow smuggling in Alwar, Rajasthan. Commenting upon the incident, former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party. In his tweet on Sunday Akhilesh slammed the government for not taking actions to prevent such incidents. He said the ruling party will again make false promises and then felicitate criminals by garlanding them.
It must be recalled that civil aviation minister Jayant Sinha had sparked a controversy after pictures of him felicitating men convicted of lynching a meat trader in Jharkhand went viral on social media.
