Muzaffarnagar: In Muzaffarnagar district of UP, a man was brutally assaulted by moneylender after he failed to pay Rs. 5000.
In the video, moneylender, Rantage can be seen beating man, Sanjeev with his slippers. He also made derogatory comments against him, India Samvad reported.
After the video went viral on the internet, an outrage erupted. This brutal incident occurred in Palada village of Muzaffarnagar district.
Meanwhile, the victim alleged that the accused also used abusive language against his wife.
After the incident, the man lodged a complaint. Police arrested the moneylender.
According to the details, the victim took the loan of Rs. 50, 000 from the accused. He borrowed the money for the marriages of his daughter. The victim paid Rs. 75000 out of Rs. 80000(Rs. 50000 principal amount and Rs. 30000 interest) but failed to pay remaining Rs. 5000.
