The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has decided to file an appeal against the bail granted by the Hyderabad High Court to TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy in the ‘Cash for Vote’ scam.
The ACB said that it would prepare an appeal after the receipt of order of High Court which granted bail to Revanth Reddy and other two other accused. The ACB maintained that it was yet complete the preliminary investigation into the case. The source of Rs. 50 lakh, which were paid to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, is yet to be traced. The investigation agency will approach the Supreme Court to get the bail quashed. (INN)
