Aamir Khan ‘excited’ about Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’

New Delhi: Amid the talks that Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ would have an effect on each other’s fate at the Box Office, Mr. Perfectionist is all praise for ‘Sultan’ and can’t wait for its release.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, the 51-year-old actor said, ” Sultan comes in July and I am excited to watch the movie because all his (Salman’s) films are good and entertaining. Salman and my film have different story despite the same theme of wrestling. I saw the promo and it is amazing.”

He further said that he liked the movie’s teaser and its new song, adding that he is excited to watch the movie.

Talking about both being wrestling-based films, the ‘ PK’ star stated, “Kushti has different techniques. It isn’t like if one pehlwan does dhobi pachad, the other cannot do it.”

Aamir even talked about the social relevance of his upcoming flick ‘ Dangal’ and said, “I think it goes beyond wrestling. The script that is written by Nitesh, it is an important aspect. But it has a human angle and is socially relevant. It is very entertaining as well.”

The movie stars Aamir portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. (ANI)
