Mubarakpur, February 17: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Mubarakpur area, police said here today.
A woman lodged a complaint this morning that her daughter, a student of class one, was raped by Deepak alias Rahul Singh (20) on February 15, when she was retuning from the school, they said.
Police said that the accused Deepak has been arrested and medical examination of the girl is being conducted.
