New Delhi, January 17: The appointment of eight new Governors including National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and former Home Minister Shivraj V Patil was announced.
Narayanan has been appointed Governor of West Bengal and Patil as Governor of Punjab as well as the Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, a Presidential announcement said late last night.
