As many as 62 lady applicants from Telangana State have been selected for Haj 2018 under Mehram Quota.
Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Mohammed Masihullah Khan informed that the Haj committee of India had allotted 500 seats under Mehram Quota for such lady applicants whose male companions were selected but they could not apply in time. Altogether, 604 women applied under this category, out of which 577 were found to be eligible. The Haj Committee of India in its meeting decided to select all the eligible applicants.
Out of 64 applicants from Telangana State 62 were declared selected for Haj this year and they will have to submit their original passport with one colour photograph and pay in slip of the deposited amount before 5th May 2018 in the office of Telangana State Haj Committee. (INN)
