Hyderabad: After receiving various complaints of irregular supply of petrol and diesel, Commissioner of Civil Supplies, Mr. C.V. Anand took a stern action against petrol bunks and dealers.
It is reported that there were complaints that less petrol is delivered at some petrol bunks. The Commissioner of Civil Supplies formed special enforcement teams and launched a massive campaign by raiding various petrol bunks from 16th to 20th May. Nine cases were registered wherein less petrol was delivered. In Hyderabad zone, 49 petrol bunks, in Nalgonda 125 petrol bunks were examined but no such irregularity was found.
In the same manner 33 petrol bunks were checked in RR District out of which 5 petrol bunks were found to be guilty of less supply of petrol.
