300 detonators, 400 kg ammonium nitrate seized in Bihar

Patna, October 07: A cache of explosives, including 300 detonators and 400 kg ammonium nitrate, kept for delivery to the banned CPI (Maoist) activists, were recovered from a house in Bihar’s Naxalite-stronghold Rohtas district today, a senior police official said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house at Dhaudad village under Mufassil police station and recovered the explosives, ADG (headquarters) Neelmani told PTI.

Besides 150 m of wire used for detonators was also seized from the house, he added.

Three persons, including two women, were arrested in this connection, he said.
