Lucknow, January 16: Another accident happened within fortnight on the similar railway track near Tundala when kalindi express dashed Shramshakti Express at 8:15 am as the morning was hazy. The accident claimed three lives and left several injured.
R D Vajpayee, Chief Public relation officer, NCR told that the rescue effort has been initiated, as the teams have sent to the spot and injured have been taken to the hospital in Tundala. He affirmed that the track will be soon operated as soon as the damaged coaches would be lift from the spot.
“The Kalindi Express and Shram Shakti Express collided near Tundla railway station in Ferozabad,” Senior Superintendent of Police Raghuveer Lal told news agency .
“We have learnt that Kalindi Express dashed against Shram Shakti Express. Several passengers were injured in the accident. But we are yet to ascertain the casualties,” he said.
