Hyderabad, September 16: Minister for Infrastructure and Investments Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today described some of the cabinet colleagues, including Deputy Chief Minsiter Damodar Rajanarasimha, as betrayers of Telangana.
Talking to reporters, Mr Reddy said the Deputy Chief Minister and Ministers Danam Nagender and M Mukesh Goud had betrayed the people of Telangana by not resigning from their posts in favour of separate Telangana state.
By sticking to their posts the three Ministers, who belonged to Telangana Region, had tried to dilute the intensity of Telangana movement. The statehood for Telangana was inevitable and it would soon be a reality, the Minister said adding there were clear indications that the Centre would take a favourable decision in the next two weeks.
All Ministers from the Telangana Region should submit their resignation letters directly to the Governor if the Centre failed to take positve decision on Telangana issue, he said. The Seemandhra leaders would face dire consequences if they continued to question the formation of Telangana State, the Minister warned. The Seemandhra leaders would not be allowed to move in Telangana if they do not stop making provocative remarks, he also cautioned. UNI KNR-CS GM SK
