Hyderabad, January 23: A 24-year-old woman committed suicide due to financial problems under Keesra police station limits late on Thursday night.
According to Sub Inspector Soma Narsaiah, B Vani, wife of Veeranna, was a labourer and a resident of Chiryal, Ranga Reddy district.
On Thursday night, she consumed an unidentified poison due to financial problems and collapsed. She was discovered in an unconscious state by her family and was immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The doctors there declared her as brought dead.
Police registered a case under section 174CRPC. The body was handed over to her relatives after postmortem.
