Banglore, January 08: Irfan Pathan may be out of favour as far as the Indian national team is concerned, but the Delhi Daredevils seem to be in no doubt about his credentials and have shelled out all of 8.6 crore rupees in the IPL auction to snap up the left-arm medium pacer.
There is further good news for the Pathan family as the older sibling Yusuf went for 9.66 cores and his takers, who else but Kolkata Knight Riders who seem to have the knack of getting the big stars without quite getting the desired results.
Irfan will be hoping that the the swap from Kings XI Punjab to Delhi will result in a change of fortunes for him as well as his new franchise.
Yusuf on the other hand is hot property in the shortest form of the game and has already tasted IPL success with the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural season in 2008 when the Royals went all the way under the leadership of the one and only Shane Warne.
