At least 12 people were killed and 41 others were injured in a car bomb explosion in Iraq capital Baghdad, a police source said.
The attack took place on Monday when a booby-trapped car ripped through a crowded market in Baghdad’s Shiite district of al-Ameen, the source told Xinhua.
The blast destroyed many stalls, nearby shops and cars, the source said.
The Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack.
