Hyderabad, February 01: (Siasat News) All India Muslim Minority Organization demanded that 10% reservation should be given to the Muslims in educational institutions and Govt. jobs as recommended by Ranganatha Mishra Commission.
Mr. Syed Mukhtar Hussain, President All India Muslim Minority Organization told that Ranganath Mishra Commission had submitted in report in May 2007 but no action has yet been taken so far by any Govt.
He said that for providing seat in educational institutions and reservation jobs in Govt. and non-Govt. organizations, Minor steps are required to be taken.
If the political parties pressurize the Govt. to take action on this report. Is implementation could be guaranteed he further told that for the welfare of the Muslims 66 schemes were formulated but proper implementation could not be done since budget was not allocated. There are many vacancies in Wakf Board, Minorities Finance Corporation and other offices but the Govt. is not taking in filling them.
