Hyderabad, January 27: A man who suffered grievous injuries in a road accident, died while undergoing treatment at the Gandhi Hospital here on Wednesday. The mishap occurred as the auto driver rammed his auto trolley into an APSRTC bus near Balanagar crossroads under the Sanathnagar station limits.
According to the Sanathnagar police, the victim, V. Chanti, a native of Guntur, was a resident of Balkampet. He, along with his friend Mr Laxmipathi and Madhu, the auto trolley driver, were going to Sanathnagar when the mishap occurred.
Madhu who was driving the auto-trolley lost control and rammed into a bus. Chanti, who was sitting next to Mr Madhu, suffered injuries while Mr Laxmipathi who was in the trolley received minor injuries.
Chanti died while undergoing treatment. A case has been registered under Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) and 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life of others) of IPC against Madhu.
