Rajaiah may face AICC axe

Congress High Command is likely to take serious action against former MP Siricilla Rajaiah followed by an incident in which his daughter-in-law and her three sons were allegedly burnt alive in Warangal.

It is likely that the AICC may take a decision to suspend him over the gory incident which may tarnish the image of the party and reduce its winning chances in the bypoll. The Telangana Congress leaders are not happy with the tragic incident which threw Rajaiah and his family members behind bars while the post mortem report is yet to divulge the details of the incident.

Though Rajaiah withdrew from the Warangal bypoll fray and another former MP Sarve Satyanarayana is contesting the election, the incident may mar the chances of party victory. Probably at the behest of the State Congress leaders, the AICC may take a decision to axe Rajiah though he did not involve in anti-party activities. (NSS)
