Pressure needs to be put to end ISIS’ hate-filled indoctrination, says historian Irfan Habib

New Delhi, Nov.14 : Reacting to the claims made by terrorist organisation ISIS that it was responsible for the horrific attack in Paris, historian Irfan Habib on Saturday said pressure needs to be put on the outfit’s supporters and perpetuators of their ideology which is full of hatred and exclusivist.

“It’s a culmination of the indoctrination against which has been going on for the last three-four decades. It’s indoctrination of young minds, indoctrination with hate-filled ideology, and indoctrination of a certain thinking which is exclusivist. All this is done in the name of religion,” Habib told ANI.

“The ISIS is a result of an ideology which is perpetuated over last 150 years by Saudi Government very openly and we all know about it. They are using their money to expand this ideology of hate over the world. They are supplying this ideology with funds to people all across the world. So, this source needs to be checked,” he added.

The historian insisted that pressure has to be put on the Saudi Government, all the supporters and perpetuators of this ideology so that action is taken at the root.
