Jana welcomes KCR-Naidu handshake

Making it clear that he was not attending the foundation stone laying function of Andhra Pradesh state capital Amaravathi scheduled to be held on October 22, Congress senior leader and CLP leader K Jana Reddy said that he was wishing the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to continue the same relationship even in future too.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Jana Reddy said that he was only sent message to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister but he was not attending the function. Alleging that the Telangana Chief Minister did nothing in regard to drinking water, Jana Reddy countered Panchayatraj Minister K T Rama Rao to tell as to what the TRS government has done to the people instead of criticizing the Congress party.

Jana Reddy alleged that KT Rama Rao didn’t spend Rs.50 crore yet allotted when the former was minister and asked the latter to answer on this issue. He said that he will continue to praise the TRS government in case the KCR completes Pranahitha-Chevella project and alleged that the TRS government was inaugurating again the projects being inaugurated by the Congress party in the past.

Jana said that the Congress party was a farmers’ friendly party and demanded the state government to purchase crops as the Food Corporation of India (FCI) was not purchasing the crops. He said that the farmers will not get minimum support price in case the millers could not purchase fine type crop. The government has to facilitate the farmers to sell their products at MSP, he asked.

Stating that the opposition parties have the right to question the government, the CLP leader said that the TRS government has to tell as to what it was done. The TRS government was continuing the schemes of the Congress party by changing the name of the schemes. (NSS)
