Hyderabad City Police Commissiner M. Mahendar Reddy, has prohibited use of high volume sound systems, including DJs, emanating sound levels beyond permissible limits at public places and processions for 15 days from 6 am on September 17 to October 1.
Any person violating the order will be prosecuted under relevant laws. The CP has taken this decision as such acts were causing hardship and distress to children, old aged persons, patients and students. (NSS)
