AK Khan adopts Jukal village near Shamshabad

Telangana State Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General A K Khan has joined the list of those adopting backward villages for their development.

In this connection, AK Khan called on IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao in the Secretariat on Monday morning and expressed his willingness to adopt Jukal village under Shamshabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district. The ACB DG assured the IT Minister that he would spare no efforts to transform the backward village into a well developed one. To this, KTR expressed his happiness and congratulated the police office for his gesture.

It may be mentioned here that several prominent persons came forward to adopt backward villages for their development being inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program and Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu’s starrer “Srimanthudu” film. After the release of his film, Mahesh Babu adopted one village in Andhra Pradesh and another village in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana State.
