On Tuesday, Zakia Jafri, the widow of former Congress MP Ehsaan Jafri approached the Gujarat high court against a lower court maintaining the clean chit by the Supreme Court appointed SIT to Chief Minister Narendra Modi and 57 others on charges of criminal conspiracy in connection with the riots.
On February 28, 2002, 68 people were killed in Ahmedabad’s Gulbarg Society.
Ehsaan Jafri was killed during the 2002 Gujarat riots.
