Amid heated arguments at the Metropolitan Magistrate’s court here, the lawyer of Zakia Jafri (the wife of slain Congress leader and former MP Ahesan Jafri) today said the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team had committed contempt of the court.
“As per the Supreme Court order of September 2011, SIT chairman had to file the final report of investigation into the complaint of Zakia Jafri before the Metropolitan court.
