ZAK urges AP govt. to give 10 pc reservations to Muslims on par with WB

Govt. of West Bengal has announced 10 percent reservations to Muslims. We will also launch a campaign for 10 percent reservations to Muslims in Andhra Pradesh. These views were expressed by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan editor Siasat here at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat premises, addressing a Career Counseling Seminar on EAMCET. He further said when a small child is asked what will he become after he is grown up? He will answer ‘either doctor or engineer.’ Today students see only these two professions even after they are grown up. While the fact is one IAS officer can transfer 100 doctors in single stroke of his pen. There are various fields and lot of opportunities.

A student Salwa, during EAMCET coaching, had aspired to become pilot; Siasat daily fulfilled her dream and she is a pilot today. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan produced the old city resident Salwa before the audience as Siasat brand ambassador.

Chief guest Mr. Zafar Javeed hailed Siasat career counseling and guidance programme. Dr. Moin Ansari (America) and Mrs. Shahida Ansari exhorted audience in general and women in particular to practice Islamic principles.
