A meeting of Tandur riot victims was held at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat office in which Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat distributed funds among 15 riot victims. 10 victims were given an aid of Rs. 5000 each, while 5 deeply affected riot victims were given Rs 7500 each. Thus a total amount of Rs. 87500 was doled out by Mr. Zahed Ali Khan.
Addressing the riot victims Mr. Zahed Ali Khan exhorted them to have patience and not to get thwarted with such incidents as Allah is always with us. He said that anti-Islam forces carry out such type of nefarious practices on repeated intervals however helping each other is the prove of Islamic brotherhood. ‘Though this fund cannot compensate the damages caused to you but is being given to boost up your confidence. He said.
