Hyderabad: Despite lack of resources making progress in various facets of life is laudable. This can be done by only those who have lofty ideas. One such person is Samreen Fatima, resident of Bibi Ka Chashma, Falaknuma. She has excelled in Martial Arts.
In a recently held Martial Arts Competition, she secured 1st position by defeating Aditya of Karnataka.
It may be mentioned that Samreen Fatima’s father, Mr. Syed Jafar is a cycle repairer and her mother, Sameena Begum is a householder.
Samreen Fatima informed Siasat that she has made achievements in various national level competitions. Now, she is aiming at participating in international competitions.
Samreen passed SSC with 92% marks from St. Mark’s Boys’ Town, Jahanuma. She got 401 marks in NEET. She hopes to secure a free seat in MBBS.
She offered special thanks to Mr. Iftekhar Husain, Secretary of Faiz-e-Aam Trust for providing financial assistance of Rs. 30000 for her coaching in Martial Arts.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan also gave Rs. 30000 to her.
Samreen Fatima told that she has two brothers. The first one, Syed Omer has completed B. Tech and the second one is the student of MCA.
She further told that her coach, Shaikh Khalid and her Gym instructor contributed a lot during her training. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan felicitated her and expressed his best wishes for her glorious future.
