Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan launched the Sheep Farming Plan initiated by Tamkeen Solutions. MD Tamkeen Solutions Abdul Mujeeb Khan, General Mangers Muhammad Baqer and Muhammad Mushtaq were also present on the occasion.
Briefing press persons the details of the programme Managing Director Abdul Mujeeb Khan said the Sheep/Goats supplied by Tamkeen Solutions are grown by families from among the marginalized communities. This aims at improving economic conditions of local people. Tamkeen Solutions is planning to rear 10000 sheep/goats this season.
Cattle rearers will be supplied fodder and medicines and they will earn 40% share of profit for their efforts and 20% of the profit is earmarked for investments in free holistic education for all.
The social enterprise has identified Mahboob Nagar, Kareem Nagar, Medak and some other rural areas for sheep farming. He said that the programme aims at eradicating educational and economic poverty in those areas.
