Zahed Ali Khan determined to make Muslim candidates Civil Servants

‘Today boys and girls opt to become either doctor or engineer while the fact is with a single signature of an IAS officer, a hundred doctors and engineers can get transfers. If children are prepared for IAS, IPS, IFS and other central services right from school level, the day is not far when a number of Muslim students will become IAS officers’, said Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan while addressing Mission IAS programme held at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall on Tuesday. He claimed that if a student has good educational record and he/she boosts his/her general knowledge by reading newspapers and magazines then he/she can perform well in the competitive exams.

He recalled that there were a number of Muslim IAS officers in the Hyderabad secretariat at the time of independence but today hardly one or two IAS officers are seen. He announced the establishment of Siasat Centre of Excellence where lectures of IAS and IFS officers will be held.
