Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan has appealed to Imams of Masajid and religious scholars to pray for rain on the occasion of Friday prayers. In a statement Mr. Zahed Ali Khan said one month has passed since the rainy season began yet there is no sign of rain which results in many problems. Since the first daha (ten days) of Ramadan is for seeking God’s Mercy, we need to pray to Allah for rain.
Mr. Zahed Ali Khan told that we should ask forgiveness and show repentance and then invoke Allah for rain. Several problems would arise due to lack of rain. He requested especially the Imams of Telangana to make humble request to Allah to shower special rains of Mercy.
