Many people are arriving in Hyderabad for conducting the survey of the development of Urdu in the State. Hyderabad city occupies a prominent place on the globe of Urdu world. This is the reason that most of the research scholars visit Hyderabad to elicit information about the progress of Urdu in this area. They feel pride in touring this city.
A few days back, a team from Calcutta visited Hyderabad to conduct a survey of readership of various newspapers including Urdu newspapers.
Mr. Zafar Fatimi, Chief reporter of Azaad-e-Hind Urdu Daily of Calcutta visited Hajj House and inspected its various sections. He gathered information from Hyderabad to present it to the Govt. of West Bengal. Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed Fardeen, President of All India Urdu Mass Communication, Hyderabad met him and apprised him of the activities of Urdu print and electronic media in Hyderabad and the functions of Urdu Academy, Minorities Finance Corporation Hajj Committee and Wakf Board.
