Dashing all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who was out of action since last 8 months as he underwent treatment for cancer, was today back in business and played a friendly cricket match hitting a stylish 47 match here today. Yuvraj, who is one of the probables selected for the World T20 to be played at South Africa in October, faced 70 balls and hit one six. He also rolled his arms by bowling five over and fielded 30 overs.
In the practice match, the stylish batsman played Karnataka State Cricket Association XI and India Under-19. “It was a purely practice match,” a KSCA official said. “Finally played my first practice game after 8 months! Got 47 of 70 balls bowled 5 overs fielded 30 overs! Not bad for a start !!,” Yuvraj tweeted. Yuvraj, after getting cured of cancer in a London hospital, is training at National Cricket Association (NCA) here. UNI
