YSRCP, TDP activists join TRS

Several activists belonging to Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party joined the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi here on Monday.

Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao admitted the workers into the party by offering them party’s scarf. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the leaders and workers of different parties were joining the TRS due to the vision of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for the development of Telangana. He said all political activists want to join the efforts for the speedy growth of Telangana which was subjected to several injustices during the regimes of united Andhra Pradesh.

In another event, nearly 500 TDP workers led by Hameed Patel joined the TRS at Chirac Public School in Kondapur. They were welcomed into the party by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. TRS Secretary Mohamed Muneeruddin and senior leader Md Arshad Ali Khan were also present on the occasion. (INN)
