YSR Congress president Vijayamma will stage dharna against conditional fee reimbursement on July 14 & 15. She blamed Congress government for shattering dreams of Dr. Rajshekhar Reddy. Senior YSR Congress leader Dr. M V Maisura Reddy told that government has issued orders to put a ceiling of Rs. 36000 to Rs. 113000 on the fee to be reimbursed to the students by categorizing engineering education into three streams. YSR Congress strongly condemns the move and will stage 2-day protest programme against that.
He told that Dr. Rajshekhar Reddy had introduced the fee-reimbursement scheme to provide free higher and professional education to poor, backward classes and minorities. However the scheme became uncertain after him.
