YSRCP fired at TDP for stating that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s tape conversation with nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson in regard to TRS MLA’s purchase for MLC elections, does not belong to him.
Speaking to the media at the party office here on Monday, senior leader MV Mysoora Reddy alleged that it was shameful on the part of Chandrababu for trying to escape from the episode on one side and launching counter attack on other side. TDP leaders were trying to make the note-for-vote issue as an issue between two States, he said and made it clear that the issue was not at all a problem between two states and it is a problem of persons.
Stating that Chandrababu was doing various feats to sidetrack the issue, Mysoora demanded Chandrababu to tender his resignation owning responsibility. He said that Chandrababu has to order an inquiry himself if he was sincere in the episode. Note-for-vote issue was really a shameful issue. Chandrababu has to get ready for CBI inquiry if the voice in alleged tapes were not belongs to him, he said. He revealed that YSRCP would stage dharnas in all constituencies across the State demanding the resignation of Chandrababu. (NSS)
