YSRCP to observe YSR vardhanti on Sept 2

YSR Congress Party today called upon its cadres across the two states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to participate in various service activities on the fifth Vardhanti of YSR on Sept 2.

Speaking to reporters at the party central office here, party senior leader and General Secretary Dr MV Mysura Reddy asked the leaders and activists to dedicate themselves to the service of the people on the occasion.

“Besides paying homage to YSR, take up various service activities on September 2 to remember him,” he appealed to the party cadres.

Dr. Mysura Reddy said people elected YSR as Chief Minister for the second time in 2009 as a gratitude for the plethora of welfare schemes he implemented.

“If YSR had been alive, the state would not have been divided and the people would have been spared of the present suffering. This is very unfortunate,” he said, adding Andhra Pradesh was bifurcated purely for political gains. Anyhow, YSRCP is hopeful that the two states will achieve progress and prosperity, he remarked.
