YSRCP Mlas Complain To Governor About “Conspiracy” Against Jagan

The YSR Congress Party MLAs on Thursday met Governor ESL Narasimhan and complained about the “conspiracy” against their party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Speaking to the media later, they said they had explained to the Governor about the “conspiracy” hatched against Jaganmohan Reddy. They charged that Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was arrested to prevent him from campaigning in the by-elections and later TDP and Congress joined hands to defame Jagan.
Party MLA Srikant Reddy said the Congress and TDP had degraded politics through their unholy conspiracy. He said they explained to the Governor how the two parties were trying to alienate Jagan from the people. He reminded that TDP MP Nama Nageswara Rao and Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal had declared in advance that Jagan would be arrested and as per their words, Jagan was arrested without showing any evidence.
He also pointed out that when TDP leader Revanth Reddy had demanded that Jagan and Vijaya Sai Reddy be kept in separate jails, within two days the CBI filed a petition seeking shifting of the auditor from the Chanchalguda jail. Srikant Reddy said they told the Governor that the CBI was working under the direction of the TDP. They requested the Governor to ensure that at least this procedure of CBI acting as per TDP’s diktats be dispensed with, he added. The MLA also said they also took the irregularities in the APPSC also to the notice of the Governor. He said the Governor had assured that he would ensure that youth would get justice in the APPSC case.
Another YSRCP MLA Shobha Nagi Reddy alleged that the CBI investigation was proceeding against the principles of natural justice. She questioned as to why the CBI was not showing the same enthusiasm which it showed in Jagan’s case with regard to Chandrababu Naidu also. (NSS)
