YSRCP Legislators to meet Prez tomorrow on poaching of MLAs by TDP

Vizianagaram: YSR Congress Party MLC Kolagatla Veerabhadraswamy here on Thursday disclosed that the party legislators (MLAs and MLCs) would go to the national capital on April 25 and apprise the President of the political conspiracies being resorted to by the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh.

            Annoncing their decision to the mediapersons here today, Veerabhadraswamy said the YSRCP would organize a candle light rallies in district headquarters on April 23 in the name to “Save Democracy in Andhra Pradesh”. Kolagatla asked the ruling party leaders as to why they were poaching legislators of the Opposition party even though they have adequate majority in the Assembly. He accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of buying legislators of the Opposition party with an ill-intention that he and his son Lokesh should be in power for ever.

            “Though you may succeed in luring and buying MLAs of the other party with ill-gotten money, but you will never steal the hearts of the people of the State”, he asked the Chief Minister. “You are making a hue and cry over your MLAs migrating to the ruling party in the neighbouring Telangana State, but how can you justify your unethical buying of MLAs of the Opposition party in Andhra Pradesh?”, he asked TDP supreme Chandrababu Naidu  (NSS)
