YSR Congress has once again taken the path of protest against the government’s fresh decision to deprive poor Muslims from fee reimbursement scheme of the government. Protesting against the government’s decision to reimburse fee for only those students whose rank is up to 10000, honourary president of the YSR Congress S Vijaya Lakshmi will conduct a 2-day fast on September 6 and 7 in Hyderabad.
During a meeting, party leaders maintained that late Dr. Y S Rajshekhar Reddy had started fee reimbursement scheme to impart higher education to the poor students, but Kiran Kumar Reddy government is trying to gradually do away with the scheme.
