The YSR Congress Party has announced it’s agitation programme to protest against the Government’s negligent attitude in solving the power crisis, including State-wide bandh on august 31.
Speaking to the media her today, YSRCP leader Jupudi Prabhakar has said it was decided to organize protest programmes at Mandal level on august 28,29 and 30 and later State-wide bandh on august 31. He said the party would continue it’s agitation till the power problem was solved by the Government.
He regretted that every one in the Society was put to hardships and financial losses due to the unprecedented power cuts in the State.
This is the first time that the YSRCP has given a bandh call since its inception.
Prabhakar also alleged that the Government lacked sincerity in implementation of the SC,ST Sub-plan, and the Cabinet sub-committee report was only an eye-wash. (NSS)
