Hundreds of YSR Congress leaders led by Mr. Janardhan Reddy Rangareddy district unit president, staged dharna and rasta roko at district collectorate against power cut, hike in diesel prices and bus fares.
Traffic remained disrupted due to the protest. Police used mild force to keep the protestor off the road.
Addressing on the occasion Mr. Janardhan Reddy told that the Congress government at the centre and the state has failed in good governance. Kiran Kumar Reddy has no grip over the government. Instead of 5 hours, power shutdown is continued for 8 hours. Students’ studies are getting affected and due to diesel price hike, prices soar up for every commodity.
