YSRC alleges widespread corruption in Pushkaralu arrangements

YSR Congress on Wednesday accused the TD government of resorting to massive corruption during the Krishna Pushkaralu arrangements.

Speaking to the reporters here on Wednesday, YSRC spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said that the Pushkaralu works were allocated to contractors close to TD leaders by flouting all rules there by creating huge loss to state exchequer to the tune of Rs 1800 crore.

The YSRC leader also accused the TD chief of hurting sentiments of the by publicizing himself and the TD during a holy festival.

The pilgrims suffered due to lack of proper facilities at the pushkar ghats and they subjected to severe hardships due TD workers closing the gates to prevent people from leaving the venue. (INN)
